All my drawings are drawn directly in ink; they are live reactions to whatever I'm listening to or going through or watching. Lately, I watch a lot of music. I am currently the official artist for Joe's Pub in New York--all Pub drawings are drawn during the artist's set. I've also been performing with Balthrop, Alabama--doing live drawings that are projected while they play songs about love and dead people. I am also an ink artist. I use a sign lettering fitch I bought as a student at Parson's in 1964 from Canal St. Manhatten.
I have done jazz mostly for Miles Davis, David Newman, Dr, Billy Taylor and many more. Love your stuff and would love to share some thoughts and music stuff. You and I are quite alike, yet unique to eachother. I love black in and jazz..they fit like Rives BFK and intaglio ink!
