All my drawings are drawn directly in ink; they are live reactions to whatever I'm listening to or going through or watching. Lately, I watch a lot of music. I am currently the official artist for Joe's Pub in New York--all Pub drawings are drawn during the artist's set. I've also been performing with Balthrop, Alabama--doing live drawings that are projected while they play songs about love and dead people. Cool, man!
This evening at dinner Huck began moving his head in a strange little jerky manner and looking off to the side in a weird way, explaining that he was the people from Brooklyn. We finaly figured out he was imitating the "Explode" video that we love.
Very cool!
I rather love that story.
